Hamad Apple Cider Finger Ride For Health At Wal Nass

★Ingredients

Apples (organic if possible)

Sugar (optional, about 1 tablespoon per apple to speed up fermentation)

Filtered water

★Instructions

  1. Prepare the Apples:

Wash and chop the apples into small pieces, including the core and peels.

  1. Add Ingredients to a Jar:

Place the apple pieces in a glass jar. If using, add a tablespoon of sugar to help with fermentation.

  1. Cover with Water:

Pour filtered water over the apples until they are completely covered.

  1. Fermentation Setup:

Cover the jar with a paper towel or cloth and secure it with a rubber band to allow airflow while preventing dust or insects from entering.

  1. Store and Stir Daily:

Keep the jar in a warm, dark place for 1-2 weeks, stirring daily to help with fermentation.

  1. Strain and Continue Fermenting:

After about 1-2 weeks, strain the apple pieces out, leaving the liquid in the jar. Cover again with the cloth and let it ferment for another 3-4 weeks.

  1. Taste and Bottle:

Taste the vinegar to check its acidity. Once it reaches the desired taste, transfer it to a bottle and store it in a cool place.

Usage:

Apple cider vinegar can be consumed diluted in water. Some people use it as a home remedy for sore throats, although it should always be diluted to avoid throat irritation.
