Grilled fish
Pomfret – 1.5 kg whole
🔸Clean the fish , put slits in the fish (helps in marination).
🔸First marination
Marinate the whole fish with salt pepper and vinegar and keep aside for 1 hour .
🔸Second marination
🔺One side marination –
Ginger garlic chilly paste – 2 tbsp
Yogurt – 1/4 cup
Chilly powder – 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Pepper – 1 tbsp
Corinader mint leaves paste – 1 tbsp
Vinegar- 2 tsp
Coconut oil
Salt ( required)
Marinate the fish and add green chillies inside the slits.
🔺Back side marination
Garlic – 7-8 cloves
Pepper – 1 tbsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1/8 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Fennel powder- 1 tsp
Cinnamon powder – 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice -1/2 lemon
Olive oil
Salt
Marinate the other side of fish with above ingredients.
Keep aside for atleast 2 hours.
🔸Fold the fish using aluminium foil
🔸 Bake the fish for 20 min each side at 180’c
And pan grill it for 5 min.
Or
🔸Directly grill the fish in charcoal.
( if you are using stove , keep it in a pan and cook for 15 min atleast , stir occasionally )
